1. Who we are.

Shop.ukhomecinemas.com is operated by 1080 integration LTD (Trading as UK Home Cinemas).

We are a limited company registered in the UK under company registration number 07010706 and our address is: 5 Greenfinch Close, Crowthorne Berkshire RG45 6TZ.

Our main trading address is the same as our registered address (Above).

We are a member of CEDIA The custom electronics design and installation association.

Our main activity is design and installation of projector based home cinema rooms and home automation systems for clients throughout the UK. We also sell home cinema equipment and we can bundle this with specialist design work, or significant advice, for clients who wish to create their own home cinema or media room.

3.Contract execution and disclosure of personal data.

Your personal data will be used to provide the information, goods and services offered through conversations, correspondence or through our websites, for the purpose of billing and order fulfilment. The specific personal data which we retain and use is: Name address, phone number, Email address, correspondence such as Emails and text messages, whatsApp messages, messages sent or received by any other means of communication, details relating to any online services which we may have set up for you as part of a project, such as an online account with providers of home automation systems or streaming services or other similar services. Where we have supplied goods and services or quotations and or held discussions or exchanged correspondence with to you, we will retain the details of such goods and services and correspondence. Details of the design work and projects which we undertake form part of our intellectual property and elements may be re used for future projects. Any work to fully separate or remove all personal data from such documentation would be prohibitively costly for a small business and as such we will usually retain this data indefinitely unless required to delete it or requested to delete it under GDPR regulations. We will not sell personal information to other people or organisations and we will only share your personal information with other organisations or people, where doing so is necessary in order to provide the goods and services which you have requested from us. For example we would usually provide your details to courier companies in order to enable them to deliver goods to you. Our web sites include payment services such as paypal and stripe payments or other payment service providers. These service providers will use and retain personal data in accordance with their own published policies. We may also use other third party services such as hosting services to host our Email servers, and for our web sites and other similar information technology services to store your personal data. We will endeavour to use reputable and secure trustworthy service providers for this purpose.
We do not plan to send regular marketing Emails but we might occasionally attempt to contact you in relation to arranging or offering a service or maintenance visit or a service contract or enhancements , add on services or equipment for systems or equipment which we have previously supplied to you or those which you have ordered.
You can choose to opt out at any time from receiving this very occasional marketing correspondence from us and you can ask for further personal data to stop being collected by us at any time. Any such requests should be emailed to shop@ukhomecinemas.com

We may disclose your personal data: • To the new owner, If we sell our business. • To agents and service providers. • In cases where we are required by law to pass on information or if we believe action is necessary for fraud, cyber crime or to protect the website, rights, personal safety of person/s.

We may also disclose aggregate statistics about visitors to our website (customers and sales) in order to describe our services to prospective partners (advertisers, sponsors) and other reputable third parties and for other lawful purposes, but these statistics will include no personally identifiable information. If you are concerned about your data, you have the right, to request access to personal data which we hold or process about you. In certain circumstances an admin fee may be chargeable.

4. Right to cancel

Under the consumer contracts regulations 2013 You have the right to cancel the purchase of goods at any time from the time of placing your order until fourteen working days, from when you were in receipt of the full set of goods. If you are in possession of the goods but wish to return them, you are under the duty to retain them and take reasonable care of them. If you wish to return them for a full refund you must not open the packaging, the goods must be returned in brand new unused and un-opened condition. You should notify us of your wish to cancel by Emailing us at shop.ukhomecinemas.com or by any other reasonable means of communication You must send the goods back to our address, at your own cost (unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is damaged or defective) as soon as possible once you have advised us of your wish to cancel the contract. We reserve the right to make a charge or deduction not exceeding our direct costs of recovering the goods if you do not return the goods if you return them at our expense. Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel the contract, any refund due will be refunded to you as soon as possible and in any event within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods. You will not have any right to cancel a purchase for the supply of any of the following goods: • for the supply of good made to your specifications or clearly personalised or which by reason of their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly. • Software which has been downloaded or installed We have the right to cancel the supply of any goods or services which you may have ordered from us. In order to do so, we must provide notice to you of our intention to cancel the supply of such goods and/or services and we must refund to you the sum paid for such goods or services. In the case of an order which comprises multiple separate goods or services, we have the right to cancel the supply of certain items, whilst continuing with the supply other items from the same order. This would be applicable mainly in the situation where we were unable to source one or more items from the order, but were able to source other items.
In such cases we would advise you as soon as possible that certain items were either unavailable or could be supplied separately at a later date. We might offer to separate the order into two or more separate orders and we would propose separate prices for the separate orders, which would usually have the same grand total price as the original order. You would have the right to either accept and agree these changes or to cancel all or part of the order(s) in accordance with the consumer contracts regulations 2013 and any relevant amendments or consumer law.

5. Notices

All notices you send us must be Emailed to the Email address provided in the first paragraph of our terms and conditions (Above) or posted to the address also provided in the first paragraph of our terms and conditions (above). We may give notice to you at either the email or postal address you provide to us when making a purchase. (Notice will be deemed received and properly served 24 hours after an email is sent or three days after the date of posting of any letter.) In providing the service of any notice, it will be sufficient to prove, in the case of a letter, that the letter was properly addressed, stamped and placed in the post and, in the case of an email that the email was sent to the specified email address of the addressees.

Complaints procedure Any Complaints in relation to our conduct or goods or services should be addressed to our managing Director Richard Bell and Emailed to the Email address provided in the first paragraph of our terms and conditions (Above) or posted to the address also provided in the first paragraph of our terms and conditions (above). We will endeavour to respond within seven working days.

7. Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by English law. Any contract for the purchase of goods from this site and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with any such contract will be governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. However, if you are a resident in Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are a resident in Scotland you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
